Google Business Profile, set up and kept alive
When someone nearby needs what you do, Google shows them a map with three businesses on it before it shows a single website. We make sure yours is on that map, filled out, and clearly open for business.
The problem
Your profile is the first thing customers judge
Think about how you find a plumber in a town you do not know. You search, the map comes up, and you scan three listings. Stars, photos, hours, distance. You call one. Plenty of people never open a website at all. For a local business, the profile is the new homepage, whether you asked for that or not.
Now look at yours the way a stranger would. Maybe it was never claimed, so Google filled it in with guesses. Maybe the hours say closed at 5 when you answer until 8, so an evening caller assumes you are done for the day and moves on. Maybe there are two blurry photos from 2019 next to a competitor with forty bright ones and a reply under every review. Nothing about that says your work is worse. It just looks that way to the only person who matters right now: the one deciding who to call.
Fixing it once is not enough either. Google trusts profiles that stay current and quietly buries the ones that go silent. That upkeep is exactly the kind of job that never makes it off a busy owner's list.
How it works
Claimed, cleaned up, then kept current
You verify ownership once. We handle everything after that.
- 1
We claim and verify
If the profile is unclaimed, wrong, or duplicated, we untangle it and get it verified under your business.
- 2
Every field gets filled
Services, service area, real hours, holiday hours, photos, and a description written in plain English. No blanks left for Google to guess at.
- 3
It stays active
Fresh posts, new photos, and answered questions on a steady schedule, so the listing reads like a business that is awake.
- 4
Clicks land somewhere good
Calls from the profile get answered by your system, and website taps land on the site we build you instead of a dead end.
What you get
A listing that pulls its weight
- Listing accuracy cleanup at onboarding. We check your name, address, phone, hours, and categories across Google, Apple, Bing, Yelp, and Facebook, and correct whatever does not match, so a customer sees the same number and the same hours no matter which listing they tap.
- Ownership in your hands. The profile is verified under your Google account, not ours. If you ever leave, it goes with you.
- Hours that are actually right. Regular hours, holiday hours, and changes when you need them. A caller who trusts your hours is a caller who shows up.
- Photos and services that sell the work. We organize what you have, tell you exactly what to shoot, and load it so the listing looks like the jobs you want more of.
- Room for reviews to shine. Your existing reviews sit front and center on the profile, current and easy to compare against the next listing. Full review management, with replies handled for you, is part of Grow and up.
- Proof of where calls come from. Calls and clicks from the profile are tracked, so you can see the listing working instead of taking our word for it.
- Messaging and sync, upgraded on Grow. On Grow, Business Profile messages route straight into your unified inbox with your calls and texts, and your listings stay synced across directories instead of drifting apart again.

Google Business Profile questions
My profile exists but I never claimed it. Is that a problem?
It is common and fixable. An unclaimed profile means Google and random suggestions control what customers see about you. We run the claim and verification with you, which usually takes a video, a postcard, or a phone step depending on what Google asks for.
Who owns the profile if I stop paying Midwatch?
You do. We verify it under your Google account and work as a manager on it. Cancel anytime and the profile, the reviews, and the photos all stay yours. There is no contract holding any of it hostage.
I already have a website. Do I still need the profile?
Yes, because a lot of customers decide from the map without ever visiting a site. The profile is where they compare you against the two names next to yours. The website closes the sale for the ones who click through, but the profile is what earns the click.
What do you actually do month to month?
Posts go out on a schedule, new photos get added, questions get answered, and hours get updated for holidays or schedule changes. It is unglamorous upkeep, which is exactly why it never gets done in-house.
Can you get wrong information removed from my listing?
Usually, yes. Wrong categories, old addresses, duplicate listings, and bad suggested edits can be corrected or disputed through Google once the profile is verified. Some fixes are instant and some take Google a while, but we chase them until they are done.
