The watch your business doesn't keep
On a ship, the midwatch is the shift nobody wants: midnight to four, when everyone else is asleep. Somebody stands it anyway, because that is when things go wrong. That is the job we do for local businesses.
Who we are
Midwatch is a small, founder-run operation. When you sign up, the person who builds your website is the person who answers your questions. There is no account manager between you and the work, no offshore ticket queue, and no sales team that disappears after the close.
We started with a simple observation from working with local businesses: the work was never the problem. The phone was. Good operators lose jobs every week to voicemail, slow websites, and follow-up that never happens, then get told the fix is a costly rebuild or a lead service that sells the same customer to five competitors.
So we flipped it. Every plan starts with a full website, because a website alone was never worth what agencies charge for it. Three plans, each one building on the last, and what you pay more for as you grow is the system that stands watch behind it: answering, texting back, booking, reminding, and invoicing while you work, sleep, and take the occasional day off.
Our first build runs live today at Young's Handyman, and it is the honest kind of proof: a real site for a real crew, catching real calls. We would rather show you that one true thing than a wall of made-up numbers.

One real build beats ten testimonials
Young's Handyman · A live client build
This is our showcase build: a family handyman shop whose phone went to voicemail every time they were up a ladder. Their site now leads with their own photos and number, books estimates in under a minute, and texts back every missed call in seconds.
That is the exact treatment your business gets. Your trade, your photos, your calls.
